LEARN HOW TO SELF CORRECT: After teaching hundreds of people, since 1995, and practicing body work for 25 years, Betty realized that everyone has at least one out of 5 major issues with bad posture and movement. When teaching large classes where she could not physically adjust everyone, she developed a specific type of instruction.

ALIGN & STRENTHEN: Similar to Iyengar yoga, (which focuses on proper alignment) she will demo the common mistakes, with corrections and show easy modifications to keep your body safe and get the most out of your session.

GAIN NEW INSIGHT & FEEL BETTER: Increase awareness in your posture, movements, thinking and breathing patterns. From Betty’s hands on experience of rebalancing people’s neuromuscular system, she will know what your muscle, ligaments, joints and soft tissue feels like just by looking at you. This gives a deeper understanding of how to help you.

THE ‘QUICK RESET’ CLASS: Consistency is more effective than duration, when it comes to retraining the mind and body into a healthier way to function. Once you have learned the basic moves and how to correct your alignment, 5 to 15 minutes once or twice a day might be all you need. If you have time and interest or chronic issues, then the 30-50 minute class will benefit you more.

Poses, Breathwork and Meditation are the most common to practice out of the 8 limbs of Yoga. Betty’s Yoga Journey

Betty is certified in Anusara Yoga, Level 2 Reiki and Deep Tissue Massage. She has 25 years experience in chiropractic, gait and postural analysis, exercise physiology, therapeutic manipulation, Breathwork for anxiety, detox and mental clarity, as well as practice in Somatic movement and trauma based healing.

She lived in an Ashram for 2 years. She did intensive trainings in Hatha, Kundalini, Tibetan and Tao Yoga. Tibetan and Rudra meditation, Chanting, Whirling Dervish Dance, Sufi study, and nutritional cooking.

She has researched and used many healing modalities for the recovery on herself and others. Injuries include; Head Trauma, broken ankle, Rotator Cuff tear, torn Labrum, Plantar Fasciitis, Plantar Fascial Rupture, Ruptured Bursa Sac, gluteal tendonitis, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Dislocated Patella, torn Meniscus and ACL, Sciatica, ‘Sunken Chest Syndrome’ Hiatal Hernia, Bulging Disc, Oral Surgeries which can create TMJ and neck tension, Migraines, Restless Leg Syndrome, Stiff Joints, Inflammatory issues due to scar tissue and musculoskeletal imbalances.

Zoom Sessions: 1) Full Class (30 – 50 minutes) – Allow yourself the time to deepen your healing journey. 2) ‘Quick Reset’ Classes (5-15 minutes) – Consistency is better than only doing something once a week. You can correct posture and retrain muscle memory and mindset in short but daily sessions.
